Memories

Wow.  I realized quite a few things over the past week.

1- How much I miss living in Florida.  Literally I know I still live on the Gulf of Mexico and the reasons we moved back here were sound for the family and the  market is bad and we have a huge house and The Prince is happy and a million other reasons but I have to tell you.  Seeing the beautiful beaches and oceans stirred that dormant feeling in me that called back every sense that was where I belong.

2- I say it every day on Facebook, the blogs, and on Twitter, but I love you guys. Honestly as this very blog turns 1 this year, my Facebook account turns 2 and so does my twitter.  I love you guys.  You have gotten me through thick and thin, panic and pride, helped my kids with projects and are there 24/7 with smiles, laughs and comfort.  Honestly the internet has opened up the opportunity to surround yourself with people you like no matter the distance.  I am so lucky to have such awesome people as friends and followers.

3- I brag about my kids all the time, but I am super lucky,  My daughter will be walking for her 3rd diploma before her 22nd birthday.  May 13, 2011 she will get her B.S. from USM.  I am very proud.

4- This blog turns 1 year old on April 24th.  So  for it’s birthday I am having a contest are at the very top of the page on the orange bar.  click here

This past week was Spring Break our last name is Kirk.  Our Family reunion was held in a town called Enterprise.

Do I really need to say more?   Let the jokes begin.

My daughter drove her little white speeding compact car of terror down and picked up me and The Prince.    From here on out if your not a trechie you pretty much won’t get most of this.

Captains log  Stardate 04062011- returning from the latest expedition with the away team.  Chekov was at the helm of the Shuttle craft with Spock in second chair.  Sulu had the coordinates programmed in for us prior to the launch. Scotty and I were in the back enjoying some much deserved down time.    Bones didn’t join us, but he had sent along Tricorder.  I had warned the rest of the away team NOT TO WEAR RED, that always jinx’s us.   This away mission was for us to head to a rendezvous  with the Enterprise to see all of our distant ancestors as it was in the LA Quadrant. ( don’t get excited, that’s  lower  Alabama)  We had barely made it into the Alpa Sector when we the replicator I had installed  was put to full use.  Amazing.    The away team preformed admirably and we encountered many natives of the LA Quadrant.  Life forms strange to us with different an unique customs were presented to us, thankfully the Universal Translator  and communications were made easier.  A surprise side trip after the we left the Enterprise took place but that is for another Captains Log.    Now Don’t forget the contest.

ThePeachy1: ThePeachy1 has been trolling around the interwebz since we were all in loin cloths with Monochrome TRS 80's. Mainly proud, often befuddled, but always amazed mom of 3 awesome kids and wife to "The" techo guru. When not missing vodka, friends, or wondering why more people don't appreciate the PJ lifestyle she can be found lurking everywhere on the web.
